FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions builders ask before they spend a minute on a call.

Fit and results

Who is ADU Build•Print for?

Licensed residential contractors, remodelers, home builders, design-build firms and small developers who want to launch or grow an ADU division. You need crews that can build. We supply the business system around the build.

Does Build•Print guarantee leads or revenue?

No. Anyone who guarantees ADU leads or revenue is guessing. Build•Print installs a proven operating system in your company and our team verifies each part works. Your market and your execution drive the results.

Do I need ADU experience to start?

No. Many operators come in having built few or no ADUs. You do need construction capability and the capacity to deliver the work you sell. The Readiness Assessment tells you where you stand.

What results has the system produced?

Tiny Homes of Tucson, where every part of Build•Print was developed, has generated about $18 million in contracted ADU sales in a little over two years.

How it works

How long does implementation take?

About 90 days. Each week you put one piece of the business in place, submit proof that it works, and our team verifies it before you move on.

How much of my time does it take?

You name one implementation leader inside your company, and Build•Print assigns an implementation lead on our side. Work is planned week by week so it fits around active jobs.

What does Build•Print Certified mean?

It means your company has shown, and our team has verified, that it runs the Build•Print system: marketing, sales, estimating, delivery and operations. It is a business certification from Build•Print, not a government license. It is earned, not given for finishing videos.

What happens after the 90 days?

The implementation ends and the operating system stays. Operators keep the platform, support and the operator network on a monthly basis.

Compared to other options

How is Build•Print different from an ADU franchise?

You keep your company name, your revenue and your market. There is no franchise fee, no ongoing royalty on your sales and no territory map telling you where you can work.

How is it different from an online course?

A course gives you information. Build•Print installs working systems in your company and checks that they work. Progress is measured by what your business can do, not by videos watched.

I already use other software. Do I have to switch?

Founding Operators run one standard system so every operator can be supported the same way and results can be compared. We set it up with you during the 90 days.

Investment and next steps

How much does Build•Print cost?

Pricing is covered in the Strategy Session, after we understand your market, your capacity and your goals. Start with the Readiness Assessment to see if a session makes sense.

Who handles marketing?

Build•Print's marketing partner is Up to Code, which runs the lead generation side of the system for operators who want it done with them.
